Tessa Roos, an MBS Foundation student who will start Seminar 8 this June 2013 returned home recently and observed this:
“I just got home from the Foundation Training and found out something very cool when I went for a walk with my horse! At some point while we were walking alongside each other, she became nervous and I felt tension building up in myself, too. When I scanned my body, my ribs and sternum felt like they were stiffening up. I did a couple of small seesaw movements while walking and guess what? My horse took a big breath and calmed right down! After that we had a couple of more tries and she responded by calming down every time. I knew horses read subtle signs in our bodies, but having her respond so directly to the seesaw was really amazing to experience!”
